The council offers educational opportunities, awards and recognition programs, and sales and marketing tools like the Sales & Marketing Channel to its members. Use the resources below to learn more about the council, Sales & Marketing Ideas magazine, the Institute of Residential Marketing (IRM), and the benefits of earning an IRM designation.

Why Join a Home Builders Sales and Marketing Council?:

Are you looking for ways to get involved with your local builders? Are you frustrated trying to find ways to network with builders? Are you unsure how to approach builders? Perhaps you realize that builders can add significant revenue to your magazine. If you answered yes to any of these questions or you want to market to builders, then you may want to consider joining your local Home Builders Associations Sales and Marketing Council.
Builders build homes, marketing director’s market homes and sales professionals sell homes. Joining the Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) allows you the ability to network with the top sales and marketing professionals across the country.

The common goal of all sales and marketing councils is to further professionalism in the home building industry by providing top-notch sales and marketing education, recognition and networking opportunities. The ultimate goal is helping builders sell more homes.
